A downloadable game

Created as part of the level design assignment in the Independent Video Game Design program at Dawson College. 

During this time of war you play as a agent tasked with retrieving a top secret item from an enemy research corporation. Throughout the town their is high security, and lots of hazards (such as toxic sludge released from the company).

Controls are for keyboard/mouse or controller; 

  •     wasd the mouse to aim and shoot
  •     f to change weapons
  •     z to return to last checkpoint
  •     escape to quit

Credits:

  • Programming and Level Design - Jeremy Selwyn
  • Music, sound effects, and visual effects - Teammate from school program (wants to be uncredited) 
  • Olenson Simon - player input, and player manager scripts. 


Assets used:

  • Japanese Garden pack - all trees and rocks in game (Waldemarst)
  • Path Creator - Lets an object follow a path (bezier curve) - we added extra code to it to make it work for us
  • FPS controller by Dani (via youtube) - lots of changes / additions to it
  • Wallrun controller by Majed Madamani
    (small changes made to it)

  • BYOFPS (wireframe build your own fps)
  •     - helped with getting started with guns and enemies + damage
  • waypoint system 
  • Dialog system 
  • HP bar - Brackeys
